Setting Up Your Profile on Handshake
Welcome to Handshake! This guide will walk you through setting up your profile, whether you’re just starting or need a quick refresher. Agents with fully completed profiles are much more likely to receive Handshake referrals, so it’s worth taking a few moments to get your profile just right!
Step 1: Access the Profile Setup Page
To get started, navigate to the Settings button located in the top left corner of your screen. This is where you’ll enter your key profile details to help other agents find and connect with you.
Step 2: Add Your Profile Information
When setting up your profile, be sure to fill in the following fields:
Step 3: Select Your Service Areas
One of the most important sections is Service Areas. This helps Handshake’s algorithm match you with agents seeking referral partners in your region. You can add up to 10 Service Areas, so be sure to include all the locations where you’re active.
Step 4: Save Your Profile
Once you’re ready, click Save in the top right corner of your screen. And voilà! Your profile is now set up and ready to help you generate referrals.
Step 5: Sync Your Zillow Reviews
To add credibility to your profile, you can sync your recent Zillow reviews. As long as your Handshake email address matches one of the emails on your Zillow profile, we’ll automatically pull in your 10 most recent Zillow reviews – free of charge!
